Taiwan's oldest global startup competition, Mobileheroes, will be held again this year, and Hungarian companies can also compete.
Mobileheroes has been organised since 2002 by the Taiwanese government and local industry partners (e.g. chip manufacturers, telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, platform providers and angel investors, etc.). The event is a global startup competition to discover the best telecom startups from around the world.
This year, Mobileheroes Global will focus on smart technologies, including 5G, AI and sustainability in manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, education and cross-cutting areas. The jury will select the top 20 entries (which will be awarded prizes) and 10 startups will have the opportunity to present their work in a virtual live pitch at the final in Taipei on 23 October 2024. The top 3 finalists will receive $30,000, $20,000 and $10,000 respectively and will be showcased on international platforms.
